Thank you for taking the time to look at the cats and kittens we currently have at the Toledo Animal Rescue.
Please know, we update this page as often as we can. Adoptability status changes often and we add new adoptable pets once they are available.
If you have any questions, feel free to email the Rescue at email@example.com.
Kitten Season is upon us. New kittens will be added as soon as possible as they approach adoptable age. If you do not see the particular cat or kitten you are looking for, let us know. We will do our best to help find you a Purrfect match!

NATASHA- Rescue Ambassador
The Rescue as decided that Natasha, or Tashy, will be a permanent resident at our place. She has some rather extensive medical issues and, coupled with her age (9+) we felt we could not only offer her the best daily medical attention she needs, but also provide her a loving home surrounded by so many caring staff and volunteers. So, Tashy now has free reign of the place. Her favorite pastime is sitting in the sun after making her rounds to ensure all of her adoptable friends are safe and sound. When you visit next, please ask about Tashy. She would love to meet you.

Gotta catch 'em all. . . or in this case just Evie. Evie is very independent, and owns her space! She loves to explore, and get up high to observe her surroundings. A personal favorite of her is the window. She does not enjoy being held; however she loves getting her head and chin scratched. She was definitely a little shy when she came in, but she LOVES treats. Her trust is easily won by offering her a couple of her favorite snacks. Since she was found as a stray we do not know how she would get along with other cats, dogs, or children. She is ready for your visit now, but will not be ready to go home until her spay procedure on the 20th!

While it may look like Judy is judging you with those gorgeous green eyes of hers, we assure you that she is not! Quite the opposite actually! This quiet lady is still learning to love and trust rescue staff. When we do get her to open up she is all purrs and cuddles. Meeting new people is a little scary, but with some patience she becomes the sweetest cat around. Judy came from a home with other cats; however she has no experience with dogs or children.

Solomon came in with his mother Sheba. Solomon is a very stereotypical kitten. He loves to run and play the day away, and rough housing with his mother is a favorite of his. After he has expended all that kitten energy he curls up for a nice long nap! Being so young we're sure with some time to adjust, and a proper introduction, he would do well with kids, dogs, and other cats. He is very close with his mother, and would prefer to stay with her; however were sure he would do well on his own. Solomon is ready for your visit today; however will not be ready to go home until after his neuter procedure on the 16th.

Lacie came to us via a hording situation where almost 30 cats were seized. We don't know much about what happened while she was living there, other than the conditions were horrible. Now Lacie is living the high life, with all of the food, love, and scratches she could ever want! Lacie has no experience with dogs or children; however one could assume with a proper introduction she would do well with other cats. She is a shy and reserved girl, and is working to come out of her shell. She hesitantly accepts cuddles and scratches, and will even give us a little purr (Even if its a quiet one we can hear it!). We're sure with some time, love, and treats. Miss Lacie will come into her own, and be the amazing cat we know she can be!

Laa Laa is one beautiful cat, just look at those gorgeous yellow eyes! Laa Laa was found as a stray, and brought in with her daughters Tinki Winki and Dipsy. Despite her kids being 4 months old she was still allowing them to nurse on her, proving herself to be a good MaMa. Laa Laa is very affectionate, and spends her time loving up on staff members, or snoozing in a nice patch of sunlight. She does well with her daughters; however, she has no known experience with other cats, dogs, or children. Meeting this wonderful lady will definitely make you want to sing!

Barbeque (or BBQ for short!) came in with her three kids, Brisket, Pork Chop, and Hotdog. She was a great mama, but now she's ready for some me time! BBQ is a very affectionate cat. She gets so happy when she sees people she immediately starts purring, and making her signature biscuits. This sweet lady has been around her children; however has not been around any other cats. She also does not have any experience with dogs, so we are unsure of how she would do with them. She enjoys cuddles, and will even roll over for belly rubs. Not coming in to meet Miss BBQ would definitely be a misteak! We're sure once you meat her, you'll just have to have her!

Potato came to us after being found running across I-75, and being lured into her rescuer’s car by, you guessed it, potato chips! Since she was found as a stray, we do not know how she would do with other cats, dogs, or children. This lovely lady is as sweet and gentle as they come. She loves affection and seeks it out as soon as you open her kennel. Potato loves treats she scarfs them down as soon as you put them in front of her. She is a very small cat, and we have no idea where all the treats go! IF your looking for a small, quiet, gentle, sweet young lady Potato is definitely your girl!

Observe the wild house panther in his natural habitat. Watch as he waits patiently for his treats and cuddles to be delivered. Honestly though, if you compare Jay and a not-a-house panther side by side it would be hard to spot the difference! Unlike his wild relative Jay loves to be pet. Head scratches, chin scratches, butt scratches, you can't go wrong with any of it! When he's not begging for pets, he tends to be a pretty laid-back guy. The only thing that gets him as excited as scratches is treats. Often, he can be seen lounging around his domain, basking in rays of sunlight. If you think having a tiny panther around sounds as cool as we do, we're sure you would absolutely love Jay!
