ANNA
(Posted 6/21/2026)
Female - 3 Months Old - Shepherd Mix
Meet Anna🩷
At just 3 months old, this sweet pup is full of love, curiosity, and puppy energy! Like any young puppy, they're still learning all about the world around them and will need a family committed to training, socialization, and patience as they grow.
This little one is affectionate, cuddly, and loves being around people. They've been friendly, outgoing, and eager to explore everything since arriving at the rescue. Whether they're playing with their siblings, investigating a new toy, or curling up for a nap, they're sure to keep you smiling.
As with all puppies, they are not yet housebroken and will need help learning basic manners, potty training, leash skills, and all the other important life lessons that help puppies become wonderful adult dogs. Expect plenty of puppy antics, lots of playtime, and a few chewed-up surprises along the way!
🐾 Foster-to-Adopt Opportunity 🐾
These puppies are currently too young for their spay/neuter surgeries, so we are looking for foster-to-adopt families. Approved families can bring their puppy home now, provide a loving temporary foster home, and then finalize the adoption once the puppy is old enough to complete their spay/neuter surgery through the rescue.
If you're ready for the rewarding adventure of raising a puppy and helping them grow into a happy, healthy companion, we'd love to hear from you!
Puppies are adorable, but they're also a lot of work! Please be prepared for the time, patience, training, and commitment that comes with raising a young dog. 🩷🐶 -
TWIGGY (BONDED)- ADOPTION PENDING!
(Posted 5/15/2026)
Female - 10 Years Old - Toy Fox Terrier
Meet Twiggie 🩷
This dainty little lady is around 10 years old and proof that the sweetest souls sometimes come in the tiniest packages!
Twiggie came to us alongside two other dogs after their owner sadly passed away, and while life has changed a lot for her lately, she’s handling it with gentle grace.
Twiggie would love to find a home with her “brother” Sargie, as the two are very bonded and bring each other comfort and confidence. She’s a laid-back cuddle bug who lives for soft blankets, warm laps, and quiet companionship, but don’t let her age fool you entirely. Every now and then this little grandma gets a burst of energy and zips around like she’s late for an important meeting.
Twiggie does need a dental, which we’ll be taking care of for her, so she’ll be ready to flash her refreshed smile at her future family soon. 💕
If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion (or better yet, a matching set), Twiggie may be your girl. -
SARGIE (BONDED)- ADOPTION PENDING
(Posted 5/15/2026)
Male - 7 Years Old - Toy Fox Terrier
Meet Sargie 💙
Sargie is about 7 years old and packed full of personality, opinions, and enough spunky energy to keep life interesting.
He came to us with two other dogs after their owner sadly passed away, and while he’s been through a lot of change lately, he’s still showing up every day ready to party.
This guy has thoughts and he is not afraid to share them. Whether he’s chatting about dinner, demanding attention, or announcing his arrival to the room, Sargie likes to keep the conversation going. He’s energetic, goofy, and has the kind of larger-than-life personality that makes you laugh even when he’s being a tiny bit dramatic.
Sargie has a few lumps and bumps that come with age, but they’ve been checked out and don’t impact his health or quality of life whatsoever. He’s just a little lumpy. . . Which honestly, just adds character. He also needs a dental, which we’ll be taking care of for him.
Most importantly, Sargie is very bonded with Twiggie and we would love to see them find a home together. She brings the sweet gentle cuddles, he brings the comic relief and chaos. A perfect duo, really. ❤️ -
T-REX- ADOPTED 6/9!
(Posted 6/03/2026)
Male - 6 Months Old - Hound Mix
Meet T-Rex! 🦖❤️
Don't let the name fool you, T-Rex is much more cuddle bug than dinosaur! This handsome boy is full of energy, personality, and love. He enjoys meeting new people and is always ready for attention from his human friends.
T-Rex loves to play and is happiest when he's having fun and staying active. He's also very food motivated, which can be a great tool for training and continuing to build on his good manners. Most importantly, he's a very good boy with a sweet disposition and an eagerness to make friends wherever he goes.
As T-Rex is still new to our care, we are continuing to learn more about him. He has not yet been formally tested with dogs or cats, but so far he has shown no indication that he wouldn't do well with other pets.
If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and make every day a little brighter, T-Rex may be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet him and see why everyone is falling for this lovable guy. 🐾 -
PACO- ADOPTED 6/5!!
(Posted 6/03/2026)
Male - 12 Years Old - Chihuahua
Meet Paco! ❤️
Paco is a 12-year-old Chihuahua who has been through quite a journey. He came to us after being found at an abandoned residence by a crew of City of Toledo workers. At the time, Paco was in rough shape—he was unable to walk comfortably and was clearly in pain.
Thanks to an incredible foster home, plenty of TLC, and the veterinary care he needed, Paco is feeling much better and enjoying life again. While he may not be as spry as he once was, he still has plenty of love to give.
Due to his age and overall health status, Paco has not been neutered and will not be undergoing the procedure. He also has luxating patellas and significant dental disease, both of which are being managed with his comfort and quality of life in mind.
Paco is looking for a quiet, understanding home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love and care. He doesn't need much—just a soft place to rest, a gentle hand to pet him, and someone willing to give a senior dog the second chance he deserves. He's also done well with both dogs and cats, making him a wonderful companion for a variety of households.
If you have room in your heart and home for a special senior, Paco would love to meet you. 🐾💕
Paco is in foster care and is available to visit by appointment only!
